Job description:
This is an excellent opportunity to join highly motivated engineering team focused on building new systems and applications in media and entertainment industry.
As a enterprise java developer you will be focusing on the analysis of business requirements, design of software systems, coding,unit and system testing along
with integration of web services with multiple applications and systems with all industry best practices.
Primary Duties
• Work as part of the team closely with other developers, BA and management in Agile environment to achieve the business requirement.
• Design and implement services (both in ReSTful as well as SOAP) adhering Service Oriented Architecture standards.
• Write rules looking upon business process and integrating that into rule engines
(e.x. JBoss Drools), deep understanding in JBPM and JBRMS.
• Design and develop scalable, extendible and performance systems, test and integrate with different service clients (mobile apps and UI), fix bugs opened by
other team members.
• Collaborate with technical and business staff to understand and to develop new
solutions or the resolution of existing software problems.
Job Requirement
• Design and implement ReSTful web services for a business requirement to support multiple clients (in most cases mobile apps and other lightweight UIs)
• Design and develop core web service integration technologies supporting SOA-based application frameworks.
• Experience in Agile fast faced dynamic development environment (working with mobile development environment is a plus)
• Rich web application development experience in JEE (1.6 higher) and Java
(1.6 higher) implementing with industry proven design patterns.
• 5 years experience with Java EE (Spring, ORM, JAX-Web Service, dependency injection, security frameworks, transaction frameworks
• Deep understanding of Web Service standards (SOA, ReST, SOAP, WSDL, JSON) & XML standards (XML, XML Schema, XLST, XPath etc)
• Should be familiar with OOPS and OOAD with simple and scalable design of
complex business requirements
• Doing some performance analysis and tuning of scalable applications to achieve SLAs.
• Experience in Tomcat or TC Server is required with knowledge of configuration needed to set up web applications, Websphere and JBoss is a +
• Knowledge of API management related to security, caching, logging, monitoring etc. for webservice preferred
