Job Description:Profile/Role Description Responsible for executing testing activities. Testers implement test plans, utilize test automation tools, write and maintain test scripts and track quality metrics. Responsibilities includes:- Participate in test planning and execution for Assembly, Product, and/or Interface test phases- Develop and obtain sign-off for test documentation, including test scenarios, scripts, conditions, data requirements, and expected results- Maintain testing standards and procedures and work with the application developer to develop common test data- Execute test scripts, certify test results, and record problems and issues in accordance with the problem and issue management plans- Validate product fixes and escalate issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process- Participate in the test defect resolution process; this includes facilitating defect reviews and reporting test execution status- Escalate any risks and/or un-resolvable issues - Verify compliance of test process on project (e.g. making sure scripts and test data are being maintained)
Basic Qualifications:BQ's should be listed with years required for each skill noted. BQ's are required skills that must be found on the resume to consider the candidate Minimum 3 to 4 years experience on the following:-
Functional Testing- Test Script Creation and Execution Experience- Test Data Creation- Experience with some Test tools like Rational, HP ALM/QC, TFS, etc- Required: Experience in one or more State / Federal projects involving Case Management such as Integrated Eligibility (most preferred), Child Welfare Services, Health Insurance Exchange, etc.
Preferred Skills- Interface testing involving Web services / batch files using SoapUI or WinSCP / putty, etc
- Involvement in design / requirement review Professional Skill Requirements1. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member2. Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills3. Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
