• Performs integration of hardware and software as it relates to systems, data, LAN and stand-alone workstations and all peripheral devices for business operational requirements.
• Provides a consistent interface between clients and vendors as it relates to vendor support, corporate standards, product upgrades, installation and maintenance.
• Supports business unit users and information technology projects by providing consultation and technical expertise.
• Provides technical support for technology solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients in identifying technical tools needed.
• Ability to evaluate leading edge software products (servers and related technologies).
• Ability to work with vendors in troubleshooting vendor hardware/software products.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with users and vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Works effectively in a team environment.
• Standard business hours and overtime based on project requirements. In addition, on call rotation, and 24-hour on-call support will require some nights and weekends.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Provide technical solutions to meet the business unit requirements.
• Performs server, application, and general network troubleshooting and problem resolution in support of clients at their location. Testing of hardware and software installation and advice on hardware component problems.
