Job Summary:
Providing SAP Security technical and functional analysis and oversight expertise for SAP authorization administration that directly impacts business solutions. Provides SAP Security technical analysis and consulting on simple to complex projects. Provides day-to-day SAP user administration, SAP Security monitoring and ongoing application support. Requires multidisciplinary approaches and collaboration with project teams and business users in accordance with business needs.
Key responsibilities:
Analyzes and implements authorization security requirements and recommends and develops security measures to protect information against unauthorized modification or loss.
- Acts as a project team member on small to large-sized projects, assists in the definition of SAP Security requirements, technical considerations, and deployment activities.
- Provides project completion timeline estimates and status updates for SAP Security tasks.
- Participates in SAP Security analysis, role design, and implementation efforts.
- Performs SAP Security monitoring and support, including production support to provide continuous service.
- Supports SAP application users by resolving security-related problems in a timely manner.
- Documents SAP Security design and administration processes, creates operational guides, and monitors existing operational guides for consistency and completeness.
- Works closely with both SAP technical and functional teams to ensure the success of the overall SAP solution.
- Proposes and supports SAP security enhancements, software and hardware updates, that will support growth and improve the security and reliability of the system.
- Provides other SAP authorization and security support as needed.
- Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field.
- May coach and mentor less experienced administrators.

- Employee Self Service / Manager Self Service administration 3 years
- Process definition, improvement, and implementation 3 years
- SAP Administration for Human Resources and Payroll 3 years
- Working with process owners and identifying information technology solutions that enable business process improvements 3 years
- Requires a bachelor's degree and/or at least 4-7 years of experience in the field.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on reasonable experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
