ROLE: HADOOP ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION HOUSTON TEXAS
DURATION: 6 MONTHS OF CONTRACT WITH POSIIBILITY OF EXTENSION

- Expert in Cloudera Hadoop administrative; Strong hands on experience with Cloudera CDH (4.7 and later) installation/configuration, security control
- Strong production support experience with Cluster administration including monitoring, add/decommission nodes, managing storage, backup and restore…etc.
- Strong hands on experience on Hue, Oozie, Pig, Sqoop, HBase
- Unix or Linux admin background is a big plus
- Configure and maintain Cloudera Hadoop Cluster. Monitor/manage HDFS/Hive performance.
- Administrate user access to HDFS/HIVE. Develop/maintain ETL process to move data between Oracle and Cloudera HDFS/Hive.
- Use Hive or Presto or R to manipulate data in Cloudera big data platform.
- Expert in configure/manage HDFS system.
- Strong experience in data transfer in/out Cloudera Hadoop cluster.
- Expert in writing Hive or R or Presto in Hadoop.
- Good understanding of Oracle Database, PL/SQL.
- General understanding of AWS Cloud service.
