Job Description
• Work under general supervision to engage on Data Services and Business Intelligence projects, understand scope and objectives, design, develop/modify, test, deploy moderate to complex technical solutions to meet project objectives.
• Implement reporting solutions utilizing MicroStrategy, to support business analytical and reporting needs.
• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot the reporting solutions. Build grids, graphs, reports, and dashboards. Create and/or enhance report objects, metrics, filters, and other application objects as needed.
• Deliver required supporting documentation.
• Troubleshoot and analyze data issues within reports.
• Performance tune reports as needed, validate report SQL, and implement BI best practices to ensure optimal end-user experience.
Requirements
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience designing and developing reporting solutions using MicroStrategy BI Stack v9.0 or higher. Knowledge of Visual Insight, Analytics, and/or Mobile App development a plus.
• Proficient in working with relational databases and use of SQL. Experience with Oracle DB required.
• Familiar with data warehouse concepts and BI life-cycle development
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication (both oral and written) skills
• Experience with Annuities or Mutual Funds industry a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
