Team Lead – SAP Master Data
Location: Atlanta , GA
6 month
Rate: $60.00 all in
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Team Lead for client's SAP Master Data will be responsible for overall Level 2 Production Support for all Master Data issues for the client's SAP system. They will work closely with the client's Master Data organization and will resolved issues and provide enhancements to the solution in areas where they need help.
The Team Lead will be part of an onsite team and will have offshore members working under his or her direction in a managed service delivery model.
POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Functional /Technical
· 5+ years of demonstrated hands on experience in business application design, implementation for SAP applications.
· SAP Implementation experience with Material Master, Customer and Vendor Master highly desirable
· Knowledgeable with ALE, Workflow and IDOC functionality
· Ability to create functional specifications
· Familiar with ITSM / Service Desk ticketing systems
Process Experience
· Understands ITIL concepts for Production Support
· Understands Level 2 support requirements
· Understands Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management processes
· Understands how to work in a managed service environment driven by SLAs
Team Lead Experience
· Will be expected to chair meetings for clients and review SLA-related information, Root Cause Analysis of significant issues is discussed and prioritization of work is mutually agreed upon
· Experienced in providing mentoring to team members
· Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability, successfully lead & supervise a team, gaining the respect and support of all team members
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
o Self-starter, works independently
o Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, and ability to achieve results
o Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Attention to detail.
o Ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks. Ability to influence key individuals inside and outside of own group
o Ability to follow corporate standards with respect to tools and processes
o Strong knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and technical design techniques
o Ability to adapt and rapidly apply changing technology to business needs
o Ability to handle multiple assignments
o Effective decision making
TECHNICAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATION(S) AND LICENSE(S)
PC Skills / Microsoft Applications… ITIL certification and/or SAP Certifications desirable
