Position Title : QA Tester
Location: Iowa City, IA
Duration : 6-12 Months + Contract
Job Description & Skills :
· QA Tester is responsible for the test planning, developing/implementing the automation and manual test cases, reviewing and validating requirements. This QA Tester will possess the necessary skills and experience to understand the infrastructure and develop automation test scripts. This position will require you to work with multiple QA members and developers, with different degrees of knowledge in manual and automation testing.
· Experience in software development environment
· Understand project management process methodologies and when and how to get issues resolved and decision made.
· Knowledge of application development methodologies.
· Strong skills in automation design techniques using Selenium.
· Strong skills in evaluating requirements and application/test case documentation for accuracy and completeness – Functional and System Documentation.
· Understand test class development including creation of unit test cases.
· Working experience with API – should be able to understand the functions and methods provided for any API and use them for automation.
· Experience in Agile methodologies and able to create automation approaches to fit Agile implementations.
