IT Technical Delivery Manager
Location: Atlanta , GA
Rate: $45.00 all in
IT Technical Delivery Manager • Oversee entire project life cycle from initial concept through production release and post close completion for IT development activities • Participate in scope and requirements meetings with business customers, and take the lead in defining and communicating final decisions to all parties • Create and manage project plans, identify necessary resources, and execute project management tasks throughout the life of a project • Continuously re-evaluate project status, identify issues and risks, and provide recommendations for resolution and escalate when necessary • Maintain steady communication with development and/or analytical staff, business customers and management on all projects • Provide project status to stakeholders • Work tightly with Development team resources to define tasks, assist with work distribution, and manage daily status • Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing • Work with project team members to regularly maintain and update the project to keep project status and tasks up to date • Ensure all required SDLC deliverables are established • Comply with technical standards, policies and procedures. Requirements: • Minimum of a 4 year Bachelor's degree, in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering • Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) preferred • Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology, at least 3 years in a project management role. • Knowledge of MS Project • Solid understanding of Agile , SDLC. CSM or CSPO certification an added plus • Technical background as developer and/or analyst in the field of web solutions development (.NET stack) • Technical background as developer and/or analyst in the field of mobile solutions development (Mobile Web and Native iOS/Android) • Solid understanding of hardware, os, web services, database, performance • Strong knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies. • Proven business analysis and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language • Ability to write SDLC documents • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Keen attention to detail.
