Java Developer

Location:  Nashville, TN

Rate:  $31 per hour

Duration:  one year

 

This contractor position is in support of the LMI Improvement Grant to implement an enhanced Labor Exchange System, providing self-service capabilities for employers and job seekers. This enhancement will allow employers to register and post job orders and will provide capability for job seekers to post resumes and review information on job orders posted by employers. In addition to this, candidate will be expected to address maintenance issues in eCMATS application. The candidate will also work on SIDES (State Information Data Exchange System) Project which will involve building a connector to the UI SIDES Broker System web service to post separation requests and to receive separation responses from Employer/TPAs. The task will require excellent analytical and communication skills and technical expertise in development of J2EE Applications with strong backend skills in Oracle. Experience in Web Services is preferred. Candidates should have expertise in: developing test plans and performing Quality Assurance on the product being developed; debugging software; and deploying the application in a JBoss environment.
