Technical Applications Specialist
Contract-to-Hire

SJM's GIT Group is looking for an immediate contract to hire resource to fill the role of Technical Applications Specialist. This role will serve as the technical point of contact and information for SJM on the functioning of EPIQ software processes, and will serve as the primary contact with the software vendor on all technical coordination matters.
Summary:
Support, extend, and enhance global Quality business processes managed within EPIQ Software (EtQ Reliance).
Perform detailed applications configuration, form design and creation, integration to SAP and BW data sources, and reporting data warehouses.
--Non-Conforming Material Report
--Complaints and Complaints reporting
--Corrective Action/Preventive Action
- Partner with business on projects relating to the management of applications and related user and data interface(s).
- Perform business analysis, document functional and technical requirements.
- Create application design. Configure, test and install application components necessary to meet business' functional requirements.
- Create software design specifications addressing business requirements by utilizing the appropriate specifications, methodologies, standards and templates.
- Understand impact of business processes and applicable capabilities and configuration options. Implement measures to support changes in business processes.
- Understand underlying technologies adequately to discuss options with other technical team members and supervisors. This includes ETL developers, data architects and delivery team leaders.
- Coordinate the implementation of solutions with technical resources and members of the process and business teams.
- Drive resolution of implementation and technical issues related to master data
