 Systems Analyst                                    

12 month Contract

Minnetonka

*Must pass a drug test and background check once offered the position*

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Participate in business requirements gathering for data conversion and migration from legacy systems to new systems.

• Lead data analysis, source to target mapping, and data profiling initiatives. Create logical data models.

• Perform analysis of multiple data sources and processes to ensure data integrity, completeness and accuracy.

• Explain and present data models to IT and business.

• Collaborate with internal and external customers to solve their data needs and ad-hoc queries, displaying excellent communication abilities.

• Perform extraction, transformation, loading and other data management tasks.

• Become a resource to IT and business teams for everything related to data management.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Required -

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems.

• 5 years experience with relational databases like MS-SQL, Oracle, DB2.

• 5 years experience with writing SQL scripts and stored procedures.

• 3 years experience with analysis and presentation of data.

• 3 years experience with Systems Analysis.

 

Preferred -

 

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), and Health Information Exchanges (HIE).

• Working knowledge of standard data transfer protocols used in the healthcare domain such as HL7, EDI X12 transactions.

• Working knowledge of Windows server environment.

• Experience with ETL tools such as IBM Data Stage, or Microsoft SSIS.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Ability to work independently without much supervision, as well as collaboratively as a member of a large team.
