Jefferson City, Missouri

 

Project Length

One year

 Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement the necessary SQL and/or similar procedures to accurately calculate each of the selected Initial Core Set measures, interfacing with data currently collected by MHD and stored in its Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) tables.

• Develop, test, and implement a flexible user interface from which selected user parameters can be entered at run-time to customize selected data elements associated with each metric (e.g. the population selection criteria, dates of interest, etc.) to permit an easy manner of looking at results that deviate somewhat from the exact specifications of the Initial Core Set measures.

• Work with identified MHD staff to train them to make necessary  modifications to the software system to accommodate anticipated annual changes to measure specifications.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Experience working with complex data structures

• Experience with the full range of Microsoft SSRS/SQL Server
