Interview : Telephonic and Skype discussion
- A self starting database administrator responsible for a large UNIX based heterogeneous database environment that includes IBM DB2 in development, test and laboratory pre-production environments. This individual's tool bag will consist of trouble shooting skills and innovative technical thinking.
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4+ years experience IBM DB2 database administration with exposure to Oracle
- Experience with UNIX/Linux
- Experience with disaster recovery
- Experience with database migration
- Experience with high availability solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
