Job Description:
We need a technical BA, ideally someone that did programming but went to the business side. The profile of a candidate that we made an offer to recently who has the types of skills we need is below.
• Senior information systems auditor with strong focus on documentation development, Information Security, process improvement, and regulatory and procedural compliance, Information Security Analyst and Senior LAN Administrator.
• Evaluating and learning StealthAudit Management Platform product.
• Skills also include client/server compliance, self-audits, technical support, and people management.
• Developed audit programs to evaluate company compliance in software licensing. Developed risk assessment to evaluate the company's overall risk exposure.
• Audited Internet access, server backups and restores, server audit policies, managed routers and server access to reduce risk of customer information loss.
• Eliminated redundant testing of IT controls by developing new methodology for testing, leveraging economies of scale by testing the same IT general control once across multiple divisions.
• Audited workstations and servers for proper software licensing, proper antivirus deployment, policy compliance, sensitive information and unauthorized software.
• Wrote and improved procedures for the Desktop Computing group by developing standard processes that were eventually used across the company.
• Analyzed security logs and configuration settings to establish compliance with company policies.
• Project lead for 6 successful large-scale, out-of-town hotsite recovery exercises. Each of these exercises cost tens of thousands of dollars and involved dozens of people in various locations.
• Ensured security of distributed systems and sensitive data by conducting Active Directory configuration and NTFS permissions audits.
• Developed a database for the filing and tracking of software licenses for compliance. This resulted in a reduced amount of time to reconcile licenses.
• Audits conducted include Database Administration, Business Recovery, Data Center Operations, RACF, NT, AS-400, Active Directory 2003 / 2008, Software and Asset Management, Controls over Sensitive Data, Third-Party Security Assessments, Oracle IT General Controls (Oracle Financials Implementation), and SOX IT General Controls.
• Designed and developed a Visual Basic program to switch each workstation NIC from AutoDetect to 100Mbit-full duplex. The company realized a bank wide LAN Team labor savings of over $500,000 as a result.
• Developed SQL database for the filing and tracking of software licenses for compliance purposes
• Designed and built centralized enterprise inventory database using Microsoft SQL 2000 on multiprocessor Intel platform.
• Managed hardware and software inventory information for 1,000 servers and 35,000 workstations.
• Managed production database with over 15 tables, 50 million rows and 45 indexes.
• Developed T-SQL scripts for database replication and data scrubbing.
• Designed Data Transformation Service (DTS) packages for exporting production data for backup and archiving.
• Designed over 200 location-independent Crystal Reports for reporting to executive management.
