Position: Business/Systems Analyst
Location: Norfolk VA / Atlanta GA
Duration: 6+ Months
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.
• Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs.
• Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
• Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.
• Works with the IT learning organization to mentor and assist in training initiatives and performs estimates for application functionality enhancements.
• Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Detailed-oriented with ability to multi-task required.
• Possess strong organization, analytical, problem solving, planning, written and oral communication skills.
• Possess the ability to analyze and document computer systems and software (data structures, functional components, interactions, etc.)
• Participates / Leads Agile teams
• Collaborates with Product Owners
• Assesses current project status and supports quick decision making to achieve daily successes
• Ability to develop and define development team processes
• Experienced in planning work tasks in an Agile-Scrum development platform
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires BA/BS in information systems or related field;
• 6 or more years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Certifications preferred – CPBA or CBAP or CSM
• Desirable to have Business Process Modeling Knowledge.
• Knowledge in Health Insurance industry, CM/UM flows
Additional requirements:
• SQL experience
• Basic testing in pre-production environment
• Write User stories
