Copy Writer
Location: Mooresville, NC
Duration: 6 Months+
e-Commerce WebSite Copy Writer experience is must.
Scope of Project
· UX Copy Writer for an e-commerce website Re-Design and Re-Platform Project which is being undertaken
· Work with a Team of UX Designer (responsible for the mock-up Screen) to ensure the content are in sync with the pre-Decided Style Guide
· Architect will come up with the Overall Architecture and the Wireframes, Designer would create the wireframe mock-ups and the Copy Writer would be responsible for defining the Copy for the inter-stage, messaging or help text etc.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure and Define Copies which are Consistent
o Copy would be used across multiple Device and Platform and so aware of how the experience would look like across a Mobile Phone Vs Tablet Vs Desktop
· Manage Multiple Tracks of work which is usually the case with large project undertaken by large enterprise.
· Usually at any given point in time there would be 3-4 UX Designer experience tracks in flight. Prioritize the work
· Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of moderately complex to extremely complex applications
· Write and edit user manuals, help systems, and other technical documents for complex technologies and new technologies/processes.
· Design and format documents using document creation software
· Interview applications developers and other technical resource personnel to ensure the accuracy of all information presented
· Ensure messages comply with any applicable regulatory requirements
Requirements:
· Familiar with Design Mock-Up and Ux Modeling Tools
· Understanding of How a Style Guide plays on to the Overall Aspect of an e-commerce website and making sure that copy is in-line with whatever the Designer or Editors are coming up with
· Bachelor's Degree
· 3-5 years related experience with a focus in research, report writing and documentation required.
