This is an opportunity for a talented and motivated. Solutions Architect, to work in an experienced IT delivery team to develop enterprise-grade IT solutions for our clients. The Solutions Architect participates in the full software development lifecycle, including leadership & ownership of the architecture definition and active contribution in the requirements, design, coding/unit-testing and implementation. Successful candidates will promote and leverage suitable & modern technologies, design patterns and best practices to build quality, high-performing and scalable systems.
- Define, scope, position and articulate technical solutions.
- Architecture, design, coding, implementation, optimization and integration of application components – including high complexity components.
- Translation of requirements into software architectures, designs and efficient, well-written software code.
- Participate in architecture, design and code reviews. Participate in building software frameworks and tools to streamline development activities.
- Ensure software deliverables are aligned with the defined architecture, established standards and quality practices.
- Establish & sustain relationships with clients, business units and partners.
- Provide coaching, guidance and mentorship to other team members.
- Maintain awareness and provide assessments of architecture, technology, and industry trends as they relate to the overall systems architecture, and correlates to the applicability of the overall IT strategy.
- Contribute to development of proposals.
- Develop reusable application frameworks, reducing cost, complexity, and overall maintenance of proposed solutions.
- Apply software engineering methods and practices, ensuring on-time, traceable, and fully realized software solution.
Desired Skills and Experience
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Enterprise Architecture with the Role of Solution Architecture
· Experience in Digital Transformation projects or Digital Solution Engagement
· Experience with Roadmaps, Gap Analysis, Transition Architecture using Industry known frameworks
· SOA and Integration Layer knowledge
· Experience/Knowledge in EA framework eg: TOGAF/Zachman
Desired Skills
· .NET/ Java /SQL Server/MDM/LDAP/AD/BPM / SharePoint
· Good to have UI (Angular) Experience
· Tools like EA, RSA, IteraPlan etc.
· Insurance Background preferred
