UX Designer
Location: San Diego - CA
Duration: 12+Months
Self-motivated, passionate, and opinionated front end prototype/designer who cares about creating great UX Design for our websites and products. You are a creative thinker who dreams about better user experiences and can prototype ideas on the fly. You are flexible, able to switch gears and work without ego on anything from high-profile projects or low-priority production. We are an international organization, at the top of our industry.
• Innovate bold creative concepts for our websites, tools and products
• Design, code and prototype innovative UX solutions for our customers
• Interface directly with UX Design Director, Product Managers, Technology and others to represent creative ideas
• Provide elegant and simple visual solutions
• Create wireframes, user flows, functional specs and mockups to present to stakeholders
• Work directly with a highly skilled development team to prototype, test and iterate
• Switch gears quickly and able to work on multiple projects at once
• Strong understanding of web technology and responsive design
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• MVC understanding
• Solid cross browser implementation understanding
• HTML
HTML5
• JQuery Expertise
• Server Side Events
• SAAS and CSS3 expertise
• Javascript
• AJAX
• Grid layout understanding
• Responsive design understanding e.g., media queries
• Ability to quickly convert ideas into standalone mock-ups
• Experience in RESTful services preferred
• Strong skills in vector and Illustrator format as well as Photoshop
• Keep abreast of design trends and industry influences
• Research and keep current on technical tools and design software
• Organized and self-driven
• Opinionated and Passionate about great UX Design
• Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, Related Visual Arts or equivalent experience
