Job Description:
* Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts and experience with DWH design, architecting, development and maintenance using Teradata.
* Good knowledge on Dimensional Data Model
* Informatica Power Center 9.0 and above - Power Center (Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor)- strong hands on experience in Informatica - Define source tables - Define target tables - Know how to code transformations - (expressions, aggregators, filters, lookups, etc.) - Know how to write SQL code in source qualifier - Create mapping - Create sessions, worklets and workflows. - Know how to schedule workflows - Know how to monitor workflows - Optimize mappings for performance.
* Experience in applying Push Down Optimization Technique in Informatica to load the data.
* Experience with Teradata Utilities - TPUMP,MLOAD, FLOAD, FEXP etc to load Data.
* Experience in working with Teradata TPT Utilities.
* Experience with Oracle EBS Modules such as Financial, OTC, P2P and SCM.
* Strong SQL & Unix scripting skills (incl. Query tuning)
* Good understanding of Teradata Architecture
* Ability to translate technical specifications into efficient ETL mappings in Teradata environment using Informatica
* Experience in Working with any job scheduler application to design and schedule Informatica workflows
* Excellent communication and presentation
* Excellent customer handling and relationship building skills
* Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Duties
* Design, code and implement Informatica transformations.
* Engage with various project teams during development, testing and support.
* Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirements
* Perform design validation, reconciliation and error handling in the load process
* Provide inputs to solution architecture and effort estimates.
* Responsible for creating data mapping documents, writing transformation logic requirements, developing source to target interfaces, validating workflows incorporating business rules and data interface, and tuning/troubleshooting.
