Performance & Automation Tester
Location Bothell, WA
Duration: 1+ year
• Developed automation frameworks and strategies
• Developed performance testing strategies
• Extensive experience with HP Quicktest Pro, HP Performance Center, IBM Functional Tester, IBM Rational Robot, Selenium, SAP TAO, FlexMonkey, etc.
• Experience with Business Intelligence Testing (i.e. SQL skills, understanding of ETL, Data Warehouse/ Data Mart, Reporting concepts)
• Lead team of 3-5 people, including offshore teams
• Telco experience
• Very strong communications skills to client management
• Track record building teams and capabilities
• Best if based in Seattle
Required Skills:
• Experience with leading a test team for projects and interacting with peer groups including the business users.
• Experience identifying candidates and developing/executing plans to automate test cases.
• Experience in the areas of test planning, preparing, creating and executing test cases.
• Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking).
• Knowledge of Unix, DB Testing.
• Working SQL knowledge on Oracle, Informix or SQL Server database.
• Experience with Testing tools such as HP Quality Center.
• Knowledge & experience in Testing concepts (SDLC, STLC & Defect Life cycle).
• Experience in Telco Retail BSS (Business support systems)
• Good functional knowledge in Telecom Order management, BIlling, Account Management, Opportunity Management, Trouble Management
• Experience in Test Data management & Defect Management
• 5+ years leading IT testing efforts
5 - 6 years of test execution and analysis
1 - 2 years of telelcom
