Position: QA Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA/Richmond, VA

Duration: 8 Months

Description:

Develops and maintains test scenarios and end user test scripts to verify new functionality performs as designed and meets customer needs

- Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operations, documents all problems and works to resolve them

- Responsible for insuring software releases and documentation meet requirements, are installed correctly, and execute with quality

- Responsible for creating and executing regression testing, test plans, and performing the builds of applications

- Assemble and build software projects and installation packages

- Communicate with customers regarding installation issues and software defects

- Experience of reporting tools / reports testing - Crystal Reports, Business Object, advanced SQL usage

- Experience of UNIX servers - full awareness of OS and variety of commands, ability to read and test UNIX shell scripts Telecom business knowledge.

- 8+ years of experience

QA Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Develop, execute, and validate test cases, analyze logs, database tables

Experience in SQL and DevOps tools (i.e. Jenkins, JIRA)

Open defects with thorough details

Focus on quality to minimize production defects

Perform end to end functional testing

Provide status reports and updates to project lead on regular basis

Ability to balance technical skills with business savvy – ability to document and transform end-user requirements into system specifications and test cases

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to various business systems and IT processes relating to requirements gathering, testing, change management, and overall project implementation

Excellent time management and organizational skills;

Able to work efficiently while meeting tight deadlines and multiple competing priorities

Ability to take initiative in researching problems and proposing solutions

Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours to complete project tasks and coordinate migrations and/or calls with stakeholders in various time zones after hours

Knowledge and Use of requirements documentation tools and automated testing software

Knowledge of the full testing lifecycle

Involved in SIT, UAT and End to End testing with front ends to vendors.

Knowledge of DB testing(Oracle and Cassandra) is a must.

Working in unix environment for debugging issues.

Must Haves -

6 to 8 years of experience in Testing Developments API problems using Automation and Manual Testing tools to detect moderate and varied complexity challenges.

4 to 6 years of experience with Manual and Automated testing.

Analysis of data modeling Technique to determine API rules and validation.

Hand on experience on following technology suit to automation development of testing needs

DevOps working model experience & SDLC process

Good to have -

Knowledge of open source testing framework, test case management framework

Healthcare experience is a great plus.
