Senior Business Analyst (SaaS HR)

 Senior Business Systems Analyst to support SaaS solutions for our Corporate Human Resources organization with the primary responsibility of overseeing integrations, troubleshooting, data analysis, vendor technical management and liaison with other IT teams. In addition, this role will analyze business problems and recommend automated solutions, processes and procedures. The qualified individual is required to create system specifications, configure system settings, and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing. The individual will provide consultation to users on HR SaaS/Cloud solutions such as ADP, SuccessFactors, Workday, and other HR systems. The individual will also lead cross-functional teams to address system, interface, and vendor issues, as well as provide day-to-day systems support.

A Business Systems Analyst reviews design proposals and provides feedback on alignment with business requirements. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring application systems are aligned with user needs, objectives, process, and overall business strategies. The individual will exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results on new or special assignments and provide consultation on complex projects and be a top level contributor/specialist. The Business Systems Analyst will ensure integrated system and production support is in place, as well as oversees and provides guidance to Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners in all day-to-day application and production issues. The Analyst will develop system implementation strategy in partnership with key business stakeholders and create and orchestrate project plans for the entire development lifecycle, including maintenance planning. The Analyst ensures timely, accurate, and cost effective implementation of all systems and offers various aspects of Change Management for user community. The Analyst will chronicle, lead reviews, and obtain formal approval from Business Owners, DEV, and QA on extensively detailed functional requirements. The individual will draw on experience with large scale systems and interaction design principles to optimize application solutions for various departments and manage resolution of design challenges to facilitate development and ensure project delivery as well as implemented solutions meet business requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, other technical training in business, or equivalent.
4+ years of business functional area experience.
3+ years' experience with business applications.
Prior experience with PeopleSoft HR, Workday HR, and other HR solutions desired
SQL knowledge, interface and reporting design and troubleshooting experience, and complete SDLC project/process experience including waterfall and agile.
Understanding of the technical architecture of the businesses applications, platforms, interfaces, and data structure.
Ability to create very complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow.
Ability to create detailed and complex test plans for medium-sized initiatives.
Ability to create functional specifications and interface/system change requests.
Experience building and maintaining relationships external vendors and managing work to achieve successful strategic objective desired.
Must be able to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work independently.
Must have excellent documentation skills.
Must be able to convey knowledge to customers, peers, and managers of widely diverse skill levels.
Excellent customer service skills and customer focus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
