Business Analyst 

12+ Month Contract

*upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test*

 

Note, there are two openings in this group – IT Business Data Analyst and Business Analyst.

 

IT Business Data Analyst:

 

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• 2+ years' experience as a .NET or VBA development

• Strong ability with MS Excel

• Experience with complex data analysis/manipulation

• Strong ability to apply technology solutions to client needs

• Ability to understand end-user needs and requirements.

 

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced Degree in Computer Science or Statistics

• 3+ years Visual Basic development experience

• 2+ years' experience automating Excel processes

• 2+ years reporting/database experience

• Knowledge and experience using advanced statistical techniques to solve business problems

• Experience with statistical modeling and data trending

• Strong knowledge/experience with Business Objects

• Advanced level ability with MS Excel, including pivot tables and macros

• Knowledge and experience with report validation and documentation

 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field

 

 

IT Business Analyst:

 

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Reporting/Database experience

• Proficient with MS Excel

• Experience creating technical documentation

• Strong analytical skills

• Understanding and execution of BA responsibilities (e.g., analysis, business requirements, development, customer approvals, negotiating changes in scope.)

• Proficient in written and oral communications needed to be successful in a BA role (ability to translate IT-terminology into layman's terms)

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and within a team

 

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with report validation and documentation

• Strong knowledge/experience with Business Objects

• Advanced level ability with MS Excel, including pivot tables and macros

• Experience with Sitebuilder development

• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to simplify business processes

• Knowledge and experience in medical device industry or another regulated environment

 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field
