Our highly motivated and multi-functional team of systems and software engineers is offering you an opportunity to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer. Responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting industry-leading avionics systems, this team wants you to be a part of creating the next generation avionics platform. As part of this team you will help apply these systems to a wide range of aircraft as we lay the foundation for the business and regional market for the next decade.

The primary responsibility for this position will be to develop DO-178B Level B requirements, design, code analysis, and tests for an existing Flight Management system (FMS).

REQUIRED:
-Knowledge of embedded real-time systems
-Knowledge of Ada and/or C
-A proficient understanding of model-based development would be beneficial

-Experience with DO-178B standards

Other beneficial demonstrated skills:
•Aircraft related industry standards for systems and software development
•Real-time, embedded systems and processing
•Ada and C programming language experience
•Matlab Simulink
•DOORS, ClearQuest, Subversion, PREP


Additionally, the ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:
•Highly motivated and able to multi-task in a team environment
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Full software development life cycle experience, ideally for DO-178B Level B (or higher)
•Avionics System / subsystem integration and test experience
•Familiarity with commercial aircraft products and systems
•Have specific knowledge of RC procedures and processes
