 Quality Assurance Tester

Number of positions: 5

Location: San Diego CA

Duration: 4 months

Max C2C rate: $40/hr – this is my ABSOLUTE Max

Status: H1-B accepted

 

Software Quality ensures quality is built into software development products by utilizing a combination of preventative and appraisal methods, at all phases of development, to keep defects from getting into production. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of software quality concepts. Models complex business processes or systems. Creates technical documentation and specifications for mid-size applications. Participates in planning & design of test efforts for entire small to mid-size projects; creates requirements traceability documents. Mediates across the different IT teams to gain a consensus for small projects utilizing working knowledge of the IT landscape and the roles and responsibilities within the organization. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own job family. Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations. Works independently with minimal guidance. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Qualifications: - Mid-level SQE with over 3 years of experience - Have experience and knowledge on different testing approaches - Have experience and knowledge on testing embedded systems, web applications and PC applications - Able to perform analysis on software specifications - Able to perform investigation, analysis and diagnosis on system anomalies - Able to work independently Bonus: - Test automation experience - Experience in SQL database testing - White box / low level testing experience - Programming experience on writing test scripts (i.e. python scripts)
