Mobile Application Architect

Location: Miami, FL

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         Lead the design for iPhone, Android app - UI layer, MVC components, rich media handling, security, and web services

·         Direct the architecture and development of responsive design interfaces, and front-end applications for the Web and mobile devices.

·         Participate in researching new and exciting mobile technologies relevant and advantageous to End Customer's business objectives.

·         Identify and recommend mobile application frameworks and deployment best practices

·         Work closely with End Customer in US and external vendors to architect solutions based on End Customer requirements

·         Evaluate new systems for various operational needs

·         Suggest and implement testing solutions and Work closely internal and external testing resources to test applications performance and functionality in various locations

·         Provides guidance, training and support to end-users.

·         Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.

·         5+ years' experience in Mobile Systems development and implementation.

·         Solid Mobile iPhone and Android SDK development experience (touch, graphics, audio/video, content providers, data storage, memory management, screen independence, and localization)

·         Rich media management - content streaming, video, 2D image manipulation, and PDF

·         Experience developing with .NET, Web Services, XML, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Objective-C, iOS SDK, HTML5/CSS3

·         Expertise in software documentation methodologies

·         Experience with Agile or other development methodologies

·         Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals

·         Strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude

·         Fluency in Spanish and English. 

·         Expertise in developing three tier applications with .Net

·         Experience with WebGL, WebCL

·         Experience with OpenGL

·         Android NDK development experience
