Detailed JD (Pls share the Detailed Description)	Job Description: The Sr. Developer leads and consistently delivers the technical design, development and implementation of IVR/Telephony applications on time and within budget, meeting high quality standards and customer expectations under minimal supervision. The Sr. Developer ensures overall system performance and takes appropriate measures to resolve any application, production, platform and vendor issues. The Sr. Developer Works collaboratively with peers, project managers, and other teams to implement new projects or upgrade existing systems. He/She will design and build solutions consistent with enterprise architecture reference standards and exhibit the highest degree of technical expertise with excellent analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills.   Responsibilities: Acts as a lead developer with IVR/CTI applications development skills leading the design, implementation and support the management of the IVR solutions Reviews, analyzes the Functional Requirements, estimates feasibility, costs, time and work effort needed to design and implement technical solutions. Works closely with the technical peers, QA team, business partners and application users. Works collaboratively with all the team and project members to ensure the most effective results, utilizing the best solutions. Understands the organizational structure and culture to best attain the objectives and results.   Qualifications: Extensive coding experience with VXML, GRXML. Must have strong experience working with Java and related technologies. Extensive experience with ASR, TTS and VXML platforms. Good understanding of VoIP/SIP and telephony systems. Extensive working experience in large scale high volume enterprise application. Strong understanding of SOA and layered architectures. Strong understanding of application development life cycle. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science related field and at least 7 years of IT experience or Master's Degree and at least 5 years of app development experience. The following additional skills are a plus: Good understanding of Telephony Switches. Working knowledge of Genesys CTI system. Experience working with IVR IDEs such as VoiceObjects. Knowledge of Nuance Speech technologies such as NR9, Vocalizer 4.x, SpeecuSecure and Verifier. Experience working with J2EE app servers such as WebLogic, Tomcat. Experience working in Linux, Windows environments. Good understanding of networking/application protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, MRCP. Working knowledge of IVR monitoring/test tools like Hammer. Experience in tuning speech enabled IVR applications.
