Description: The successful candidate for this position will be actively driving and implementing the next version of the Windows Phone System Center 2012 OM/SM/CM solution. From the ground up develops all system topologies, employs best practices, and works to gather partner team requirements so that the system(s) supports their needs. Ensures incoming tickets, SCOM alerts, or request for support emails are promptly responded to, ticketed, and resolved. Be responsible for the accuracy of service/hardware deployments, and timely completion of all other assigned tasks. Co-manages, creates, and maintains teams support documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Investigate, root cause, and resolve failed infrastructure or services.
· Drive, plan, and execute in the deployment of System Center 2012 OM/SM/CM
· Document processes and challenges
· Communicate effectively with other engineering, test, and development groups
· Maintenance, setup, and configuration of new systems
· Create and deliver accurate system reports
· Actively monitor, create, prioritize and drive tickets to resolution
Required Job Skills:
· Expert working knowledge and experience with deployment and managing of System Center Operations and Service Manager 2012
· Ability to manage several critical issues at the same time
· SOLID troubleshooting skills and the ability to troubleshoot software, hardware and networking issues
· Clear written communication skills
· Excellent working knowledge and experience with administering Windows 7/2008 environments
· Excellent working knowledge and experience with writing and editing scripts. (Batch, VBS, or PowerShell) (Coding a Plus!)
· Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines
· Experienced and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
· Experienced and comfortable working in high paced operations environment
Other Desirable Job Skills
· Prior experience building or testing Windows Mobile Operating Systems
· Prior experience using Platform Builder, Product Studio, and Microsoft Office
· Working knowledge and experience administering WTT or WTT Mobile
· Working knowledge and experience using SCOM and SCSM
· Coding tools or Automation experience
