Minnetonka, MN

Duration:  4- months

ICD-10 Senior Consultant.
# 1 priority is the ICD-10 experience. We really would like rich ICD-10 experience if possible.

We are looking for a senior business analyst / subject-matter expert around ICD-10. The candidate should understand what ICD-10 is, and how it applies to payor medical management processes (utilization management, authorization/referral/notification processing), reimbursement policy, provider contracting/fee schedules, claims payment, reporting & analytics, etc.
Tasks we are looking for complete are to scope out the business process and systems remediation work required to bring UHC M&V compliant with the ICD-10 standard. Specifically, we are looking to scope the remediation work for the business functions listed above.

General duties for this type of resource:
Gather and organize information on problems or procedures. Analyze data gathered and potential solutions Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assure compliance with program. Review and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements. Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used. Document findings and prepare recommendations for implementation
