- Software licensing knowledge or experience as it relates to data centers or elsewhere will be a big selling point.

- 3 years of related experience desired; roughly 10ish years of total. Open to all levels.

Business Analyst, DataCenter Software 

6+ Month Contract

*upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test*

 

Role Summary:

·       Medtronic is looking for an individual to participate in optimizing the management of their datacenter software licenses.

·       This individual will be responsible for discovering, documenting and participating in the design and implementation of a matured software asset management program.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Identify and document tools and processes currently used to collect datacenter software inventory data

·       Identify and document resources, vendors and processes related to datacenter software procurement

·       Work with procurement, legal and primary software reseller to collect relevant contract and product use data

·       Compile all applicable data and work with applicable parties to validate compliance and identify opportunities for cost savings

·       Participate in the definition and implementation of workflows to support and maintain compliance for reconciled software

 

Education Level:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
