Role: Cisco Engineer

Location: Tomball Texas(40 miles from Houston}

Duration 3-6 months

Duties

·         Configure and manage Cisco network routers and switches

·         Provide technical assistance for clients and the helpdesk

·         Install/configure VPN remote offices

·         Provide physical layer support as needed

·         Develop network design documentation

·         Provide design consulting

·         Support key projects as needed

 

Desired Experience

·         Minimum five (5) years' experience working with Cisco router and switching platforms

·         Working knowledge of the following: spanning tree, routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLAN technologies and WAN protocols

·         Cisco Wireless  - WCS, WLC, 2100, 4400

·         Cisco Routers – 3900, 3800, 2800

·         Cisco Switches – 6500, 4507, 3750

·         Cisco ASA

 

Desired Certifications

·         CCNA

·         CCNP
