Systems Administrator

1 Month +

 

Job description:
This resource will work with the current engineer team located in the Plymouth office. Individual needs to have good communication skills, be results driven and be able to work in a deadline driven environment. Critical/Required Skills – Mid to Sr. experience with:

·        Red Hat

·        VMware

Bonus skill set:

·        Security Hardening

·        Tools such as Likewise, Nagios, Splunk

·        Software such as Sharepoint.

·        Documentation and design skills such as use of Visio to produce visual environment models and tools.

Duties Include:

·        Assisting with daily System administration of the hosted environment including :

o   Administration of a Production VMware and Red Hat environment, Dell hardware

o   working with Managed Data Centers,

o   Identifying and resolving issues with server OS layer

·        Assisting with development of Patch and Log file programs –

o   implementing tools such as Splunk, Nagios, Space Walk, Identifying critical log files, assisting with Patch utilities and patch management,

o   assisting with security hardening and vulnerability management administrative duties.
