Here are the requirement details

 

Not Tricare but need to be able to convert to FTE without sponsorship.

Can be located in MN or Chicago IL and able to travel up to 50%.

IBM Datastage or Pentaho is key, SSIS is a bonus

-- Senior ETL Architect  (x2)                                 

3 month Contract to Hire

Minneapolis MN or Chicago IL

*Must pass a drug test and background check once offered the position*

 

 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a business or computer-related field preferred
• Solid understanding of the Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC)
• External or Internal Consulting experience highly preferred
• Healthcare experience highly preferred
• 7 or more years of DI and/or ETL experience
• 5+ years of DataStage or Pentaho solutions (SSIS Experience a bonus)
• 5+ Years of Teradata Experience
• Architecture experience highly preferred
• Understanding of Enterprise Data warehouse data models and dimensional modeling concepts, source to target mapping and Data Integration architecture
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, follow development standards and effectively raise critical issues with the client
• Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Ability travel between 25 to 50% highly preferred (example of travel would be out on Monday and back late Thursday as needed)
• Must be located near Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL

 

Other duties:

Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.
Provide advice on project design concepts or design changes.
Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.
Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability.
Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams.
