PeopleSoft Functional Design Analyst - 

3 month

**PeopleSoft Functional Design Analyst:

 

MUST have Global PeopleSoft Financials, GL, AP, & FA in resume

 

Description: Drive deliverables across a multi-workstream, geographically disperse program to ensure foreign processing capabilities and global operational readiness is achieved. Coordinate across workstream teams to ensure business processes and technology solutions incorporate functional needs to address all required foreign processing capabilities, including VAT/GST, revaluation, remeasurement, foreign currency payments, and foreign currency billing. Guide the program and workstream owners on best practices for foreign exchange setup's, reporting, multi-currency accounting, recommendations for process or solution improvements, etc. Ensure technology solutions are designed to deliver required functionality across a global user group and to meet system up-time requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate across workstreams to write functional designs relating to global operation

• Gain alignment with process and workstream owners on functional/process designs, and technology solutions

• Obtain and propagate awareness of cross-workstream dependencies, and ensure dependencies are coordinated across workstreams to avoid issues

• Consult on design for technology solutions and processes

• Provide support to Threadneedle resource in the understanding and adoption of system solutions and processes

 

Qualifications Global PeopleSoft Financials Expert with multi currency functional experience. PeopleSoft 8.9 or higher preferred 10 + years of PeopleSoft GL, AP, & FA in a global multi currency environment. Experience executing PeopleSoft configuration changes to adopt foreign currency processing, or equivalent experience overseeing the tactical configuration/execution. Experience with integrating foreign tax functions, familiarity with foreign tax rules. Experience with Corporate, multi-state, indirect and VAT/GST tax processes and corresponding PeopleSoft functional capabilities. Experience with other Tax technology solutions as interfaces (such as Vertex, Sabrix, Taxware, OEBT, etc.) is preferred Expience implementing Treasury functions in a global model, and familiarity with requirements and regulations that would drive solutions for foreign treasury process definitions. Experience with a large Global ERP integration is preferred.
