QA ENGINEER/Analyst

Duration:3+months contract

RATE:45-50$ PER HOUR C2C AI

Ability to communicate clearly, with QA team and other departments. Provide regular status on quality assurance tasks 4+ experience working in a formal application development environment with an established SDLC and defect life cycle.

4+ years experience in software and/or program testing
4+ experience in all phases of functional, regression, acceptance and testing.
4+ experience with database testing with an ability to interpret and understand database schemas to ensure database integrity.
Perform tool evaluations, and participate in creation of standards and guidelines along with other teams. 
3+ years testing experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and UNIX. 

Responsible for functional, end to end test planning and drafting test plans. Participate in user story analysis and incorporate testing requirements, while working closely with developers and business analysts on your Agile team. 
Responsible for setting up automated test suite and able to run automated scripts.
Writing and executing test cases/test plans against test environments. Analyzing and documenting test results.
Raising and tracking defects in bug tracking tool. Identify quality and performance issues in new features developed, and write clear and precise descriptions in the bug tracking system. 
Troubleshooting issues found in QA – for instance by looking at the app logs etc
Liaising with developers and product management on issue tracking, and raising risks with QA team lead
Experience with: site messaging, utility messaging, email messaging, navigation path flows
Content Management System Experience (Alfresco preferred)
Experience with XML feeds: RSS, JSON
Categorization of Content – Taxonomy, tags
GUI test experience

3+ year experience performing automation: writing code and executing code- QTP or Selenium, preferred
