[ASP_NET_jobs] Need xMatters System Admin in MN

Here are the requirement details

 Spoke with the HM on this req and please note that they do not need the resource until 7/1/2013. The reason that they are putting out so early is that the candidate needs to have the xMatters (AlarmPoint – is the old name) experience. They have not seem much in the marketplace with this experience so are testing the waters. If they would find a candidate that fits the requirements they would definitely interview but wouldn't have the need until 7/1 for them to start.

 

They are upgrading from the old version of xMatters, also used to be called AlarmPoint, and they are looking for a System Admin that can help with the increase volume that they will have from customers given the new UI and new processes. Walking customers through and helping them create new profiles and other tasks in the new system.

 

Based on my conversation with the HM the following are what we should focus on:

 

-           xMatters (AlarmPoint) experience is a must have

-           Customer service skills

-           Troubleshooting / reading logs / following up and resolving issues

-           Helping to create FAQ documentation

xMatters System Admin ( 23775)

3 month Contract

 

*Must pass a drug test and background check once offered the position*

 

Responsibilities:
Daily systems administration tasks to support xMatters (Alarmpoint) software and its users.
Response to customer incidents and working with customers directly to resolve their xMatters configuration issues
Ongoing effort to identify more efficient use of xMatters software by UHG customers and configure improvements where required.
Ability to monitor software on Windows platform and identify any performance or capacity issues and correct.
Work with xMatters technical support on any issues that require escalation to the vendor
Scrutinize software logs and daily reports to address proactive measures to improve efficiency

Part of the Monitoring Tools team.

Software Skills:
Experience as xMatters system administrator
System Admin skills per a Windows 2008 server based application
Skills surrounding collection of logs and diagnostic research in resolving software issues
Ability to relate software capabilities to non-technical user community
