Here are the requirement details
Title : Sr Database Architect
Location Freeport
Duration : 3+ months
Rate : $ 60/hr
We have an upcoming need for a Sr. Database Architect to help set database standards and strategies and to help build out database infrastructure in support of our business transformation efforts.
The duration of this contract is three months with the possibility of an extension.
Must Have:
In-depth experience in SQL Server and strong experience with Oracle.
Experience working with teams providing architectural and technical leadership in infrastructure development.
An understanding of other infrastructure architectures, e.g., storage and security.
An understanding of virtualization in the database space and be able to define plans on how to best leverage it.
Experience defining and enforcing processes and standards and best practices in the database space.
Experience in creating failover and DR strategies for databases.
Strong skills in mentoring and coaching others.
Nice to Have:
SAP experience would be a big plus.
SQL Server 2012 would be another big plus.
