QA Tester with Data analysis
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 9+ Months
1. Job skills required.
2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance (specifically Billing Domain)
2-4 years of experience in data analysis using various tools
2-4 years of experience in UNIX/LINUX/WINDOWs/MF
2-4 years of experience in Oracle, PLSQL, SQL and wiring queries
2-4 years of experience in troubleshooting various system and process issues for telecom billing
2-4 years of experience in QC/QTP
1-2 years of experience with system integration and data conversion
Excellent Analytical skills
Strong technical and communication skills
Prior experience with Telecom is a plus
Must be a good team player
2. Provide a detailed job description of the work the T&M will be performing.
a. Take direction from the project lead to develop test cases, execute test cases, open defects
b. Setup and support Quality Center
c. Make sure every code release for Billing Applications on UNIX and MF platform is flawless.
d. Perform data analysis using UIM compare tool; Execute UIM compare jobs
e. Compare and validate customer bills
f. Perform production data and bill validation and certification
g. Analyze the issues and provide solutions/fixes using Unix, Shell Scripting, and SQL programming
h. Automate manual jobs by developing scripts
i. Provide status reports and updates to project lead on regular basis
