Location : Bloomington ,IL

Duration : 12+ months long term contract possibility of renual

 

Task Description: 

The Mobility Services-Services and Solution Center is looking for a strong object-oriented developer to assist with development and support of the Mobile Infrastructure.  This REST based web service is designed to be consumed by the Mobile User Interfaces and is deployed to our JRA 2.0 B2C environment.  Candidates must be able to work collaboratively, adapt quickly to change, and be part of a 24/7/365 support team.

 

Key skills required for this position.

_JEE 1.4 Web Service Development experience

_Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns

_Experience with creating and consuming REST and SOAP Web Services

_Strong understanding of State Farm infrastructure(ITIL experience)

_Experience with JEE frameworks (Spring)

_Knowledge of JSR 311 implementations (Jersey, JAX-RS)

 

Additional Skills:

_Demonstrate world-class programming skills

_Passion for infrastructure development and its implications to User Interfaces

_Demonstrable commitment to code quality

_Willingness to pair program to learn from their talented, experienced colleagues

_Experience with Open Source products (Jackson, Jersey, Spring)

_Experience with LTS Next (Maven, Trac, SVN, Jenkins)

_Ability to speak and write about their work and accomplishments

_Willing to explore and learn new mobile platforms, frameworks, concepts, etc.
