Job Title               : Database Admin

Location               : New England, USA

Duration              : 6-12 months Contract

Job description:

·         The DBA works with project initiative teams to assist in database design, creation of data models, setting and enforcing standards around SQL coding, development and maintenance of stored procedures.

·         Designs and implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance routines; resolves database application performance issues, analyzes and resolves database capacity issues.

·         Need 2+ full life cycle implementation.

 

Skills / qualifications:

·         7+ years of experience.

·         Performs a variety of tasks required to support project teams.

·         Skill sets include but are not limited to: Big Data technologies including HP/Vertica, along with traditional RDBMS technologies like DB2, Oracle, and Teradata.

·         Computer Science degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience.
