Business Process Consultant, BI & Analystics 

7+ Month Contract

*upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test*

 

Role Summary & Skill Sets:
1. Utilize project management tools, methods, and best practices to scope and assemble project plans that align project with expectations of sponsors and stakeholders, and meets business needs. Communicate to stakeholders. NOTE: Role might be required to provide traditional Business Analyst support (i.e., requirements gathering and documentation, Client UAT).
 - Project Management & Support: WebFocus to MicroStrategy Report Migration (conversion of up to 20 reports)

2. Intake Prioritization & Management: As needed, assess, manage, and coordinate BI&A Intake process and requests.

3. Special projects as assigned by BI&A Manager(s)

 

REQUIREMENTS:
-Prior Project Manager experience working with off-shore Analytical and Reporting teams
-Knowledge of development process and the following BI Reporting Tools: MicroStrategy (basic understanding), WebFocus/SQL (some familiarity)
-Prefers experience with the following processes and/or skill sets: Requirement Design Documentation, Systems Development Processes, strong business acumen, critical thinking skills, demonstrate courage, strong relationship building skills, and working with off-shore Analytical and Reporting teams, consulting, multi-tasking, influencing without authority, ability to deal with ambiguity, meeting facilitation, detail-oriented, and a strong bias towards teamwork.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

-Prior Project Manager experience working with off-shore Analytical and Reporting teams, in or with business area, or in analytics/reporting function.

-Ability to strategize (anticipate long-term challenges or roadblocks), organize, collaborate, problem solve, execute, and drive results on projects with aggressive timelines; familiarity with establishing processes and frameworks to ensure appropriate approval is obtained through development process & delivery.

-Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to translate reporting & analytics
