Location: Roundrock TX

Duration: 6 months, likely extension into 2014

Description:

Seeking a senior software developer to help create the next generation user interface 

As part of the Dell.com software engineering team, the software developer will work in conjunction with application architects, information architects, interaction designers, visual designers, enterprise test teams and technology product managers to implement the front-end code that drives the user experience on Dell.com, one of the world's largest e-commerce websites.
Dell.com is an extremely dynamic environment where you will have an opportunity to work with some of the most advanced technologies utilized within the web industry. You will be responsible for fulfilling assigned application and project development tasks as well as creating detailed design documentation from business requirements, use cases and high-level analysis documentation.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Fulfill assigned application and project development tasks in a timely manner and according to specification
• Perform problem analysis
• Estimate development tasks
• Follow established practices and processes
• Respond to assigned issues and action items appropriately and in a timely manner
• Provide timely resolution of QA and UAT defects

 

Must Haves:

• ASP.NET
• C#
• SQL development – stored procedures
• .NET Development
