Title : BUSINESS ANALYST

Location: Bloomington

Duration:  Long term - currently till end of 2013 with possibility of renewal

Task Description: 

This position will be a Component Coordinator on the Agency Business Environment Support (AEBS) team. This component provides technical support to State Farm Agents and their staff to minimize business interruptions involving computer software and business applications. 

In the capacity of Business Analyst, you will:

Ensure our team adherers to component process, procedures and policy

Implement strategic direction of the component

Analyze workload issues

Assists in resolution of escalated issues

Provide communication between the team and management

Provide technical guidance and mentoring expanding my knowledge

 

Desired Skills/Qualities:

**PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TEAM LEAD POSITION AND STATE FARM EXPERIENCE IS HELPFUL.

Ability to work well with others

Ability to adapt and maintain a positive attitude in an ever changing environment

Organizational skills with emphasis to perform follow-up

Previous help desk experience desired

Excellent customer services skills, focused on service delivery and quality of work

Strong written and oral communication skills

 

Critical Technical Skills:

Grasping technical concepts quickly and converting them into concepts understood by the intended audience (customers, technical analysts, management).

Utilizing interpersonal and negotiation skills daily

Prioritizing workload that will vary greatly each day

Focusing on big picture concepts to understand and navigate through technical data
