ETL Developer

Contract with potential for Contract to hire down the road.  Ideal candidate would open to either scenario

This position will provide data integration and ETL services and support for our SQL Server data warehousing and SQL Server operational data store environments.

As an ETL Developer, you will:

•     Be responsible for data integration and ETL services for both existing and new databases within the data warehouse
•     Identify performance and process improvement areas and advise on building optimizations around them
•     Work on multiple projects and be responsible for meeting project deadlines
•     Maintain new SQL Server data warehouse

Required Skills:

•     Previous experience working in a Data Warehouse environment.

·       SSIS, SSRS, SSAS

·       High level knowledge of BI principles.
•     Ability to read and understand Dimensional Data Models (Star Schema methodology).
•     Ability to understand and create Source-to-Target Data Mapping documents.
•     Understand and can articulate the specific ETL methodologies needed for developing a BI/DW solution.
•     Relational database experience in MS SQL Server (2000, 2005 or 2008)
•     Experience in SQL Server environments
•     Experience creating T-SQL queries
•     Strong written & verbal communication & interpersonal skills
•     Ability to document database code and processes
•     Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•     Strong attention to detail & organization
•     Excellent process flow troubleshooting skills
