Essbase Developer
Location : Irving,TX
Duration : 4+Months


5+ years in designing and developing application software using Oracle System 9 or later EPM suite of products
• 5+ years experience in multidimensional analysis, designing applications and databases, designing and building dimensions, loading data, calculating data and aggregation techniques
• Thorough knowledge of end user tools including Smartview, Visual Explorer, and Essbase Add-in for Excel
• Demonstrated knowledge of drill to detail functionality
• Demonstrated knowledge of both native security and Shared Services security
• Oracle Essbase API and EAS Java API experience highly desirable
• DRM API experience a plus
• Hyperion Shared Services Security API experience preferred
• 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of networks
• Working knowledge of Linux OS
• Working knowledge of software version control concepts and change management processes
• Working knowledge of ETL processes
• Working knowledge of data modeling concepts both relational and dimensional
• Working knowledge of UNIX shell scripting
• Working knowledge Hyperion EPM infrastructure
• Working knowledge of automated job scheduling
• Experience with Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office productivity tools
• Understanding of authentication and authorization security concepts
• Understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Demonstrated expertise in change management and version control practices
