Description:	**Phone screen Followed by Face to Face Interview** Ø Applications Architecture and Design background Ø Web API experience (design through implementation) Ø Experienced with HTML, CSS, and JSON Ø Ability to do high-level design documentation Ø Needs to be proactive, adaptable, solution-oriented, and have strong communication skills. Ø While client uses mostly Microsoft products, any exposure with other programming languages outside of .NET (i.e. PHP, Java, Ruby, etc) would be a plus since it shows versatility! Web Services (Web API 2.0, REST) C# SQL Server 2008 (read/write, stored Procs, T-SQL) Development Methodology: SOA Team Dynamics: 6 devs (spread across several projects) Skills Needed: Senior level developer with strong Web API skills and experience building APIs for consumption by other groups. Well rounded developer. They need to have BA skills. Pull together functional and non-functional requirements. Need to manage the project themselves, with over sight from manager. Notes: Experience building partner API. Keys will be given to partner companies. The new hire will be taking direction from the Product Owner but more or less working alone on the coding portion. Interview Questions: Phone Screen (technical, 30 mins) Face to Face (technical, personal, 2 hours) Be able to talk about what is on their resumes Have you ever designed a solution from the ground up. Have you ever built a module to an existing solution. Do you understand the difference between functional and non-functional requirements Do they understand HTTP and REST What are the verbs Explain WCF vs Web API SOAP vs Rest Basic C# understanding "public static void" vs "proctected iEnumerable int" Do they understand routing in MVC http://URL/ClassName/ControllerName What are HTTP content types How do you return JSON vs XML from Web API Key Technologies: Web API C# SQL MVC is a plus
