We are looking for an application Analyst.  If submitted, they need to have 3 references as well for this financial client here in Minneapolis.

 

DETAILED REQUIREMENTS:

 

Scope of work detail, work assignments, duties, responsibilities and specific deliverables/outputs:

 

The contractor will be expected to come into Client and work on a tax straddle system for the mutual fund accounting area that is built in access today.  There is data stored in a SQL server database, and a lot of VBA code within it to do the processing.  There is a service request right now to make some enhancements to the current system so we are looking for a resource that understand access systems, along with a strong skillset in the mutual fund accounting tax reporting area.  This resource will have some internal IT and business help within in the process, but they will be expected to dig in on their own and figure out a solution from the business requirements that have already been written.

 

Required skills:

 

Strong access database skillset; strong VBA code skillset; strong knowledge in mutual fund accounting tax reporting; SQL server databaset skillset

 

Knowledge or experience needed:

 

Strong experience digging in on their own to find solutions and then resolve the issues on their own
