Here are the requirement details

Rate $20/hr

·         Location:  Erlanger, KY

·         Duration:  6 months, possible extension

The selected candidate will provide second-level end user support for computer systems (software, hardware) and equipment (printer, plotter, and telecommunication devices). Trouble shoots problems and equipment repair and replacement. Provide support for on-site conference meetings (video conference, web meetings)

Responsibilities:

• Desktop Deployment Technician will work on a Windows deployment project and will be responsible for scheduling and deployment of Windows 7 to end user desktop and laptops.
• Technician will utilize internal automated SCCM imaging solution and manually install and configure applications.
• Additional responsibilities include client-side troubleshooting and break/fix of PC hardware, software, and client network related issues.

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Windows XP/Windows 7 & excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SCCM.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003/2010 and other standard office environment applications.
• Working knowledge/experience of PC imaging tools, remote control tools and Lotus Notes experience.
• Responsible for support of remote VPN/connectivity.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to follow & enforce defined division processes.
• Professional demeanor, excellent written/verbal communication skills and a high level of quality & attention to detail.
• Excellent organization, time management, and problem solving and analysis skills.
• Ensure exceptional customer service & support with prompt problem resolution & follow-up with users.
• Provide detailed status & problem reports regularly.
• Maintain Professional work ethic & demeanor in all interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs MCSE certification is preferred.
