1. Testing (QA) experience - this job is 50% QA and 50% fixing the issues that are found when testing. We need someone who has more than QA experience more of a developer who doesnt mind testing application in order to find issues that need resolution.
2. Database ability (SQL) is important as well.
Client is seeking a .NET Developer to work on an Allscripts Enterprise (EHR) upgrade.
This role will be required to learn and understand an electronic health record software application. A new version of the software will be implemented and the programmer will be part of a team of developers that are addressing any problems found with the new version and existing interfaces to other production applications that share common data.
Review existing code and modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Test, Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Required skills:
- 5+ years C#.NET,
- 3+ years ASP.NET
- 3+ years MS SQL
- SQL Stored Procedures
Must be well spoken, strong communicator, and a team player
